Welcome to one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth.

This experience were designed  with the help of our  friend Tanya Badillo . This trip has  adventure, nature, and culture. In eight days, we will explore two of the four worlds of this exciting destination. We will immerse ourselves in the Amazon rainforest and the mountains of the Andes Cordillera. Gastronomy, extreme rafting on an Amazon river, incredible jumps, and magical treks will be part of our epic moments.

Itinerary

Welcome to one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth.

Day 1: Welcome to Quito
Arrive in Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, and get settled in your accommodation. Take some time to
acclimatize to the altitude (approximately 2,800 masl). You will walk around Quito Downtown, This
UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts well-preserved colonial-era buildings, cobblestone streets, and
stunning churches and plazas.

 Day 2: Paragliding and Pendulum Jump

Get ready for an epic day.

Early in the morning, we will head to Ruco Pichincha Volcano. You will soar from an altitude of 3,800 meters, offering you a panoramic view of the entire city and the volcanoes that surround this beautiful city. You'll touch down at the capital's most iconic park. After a well-deserved breakfast, we will make our way to Chimborazo Volcano.

In the afternoon, you'll experience a pendulum jump from the cliffs of Chimborazo, and in the evening, you'll savor a traditional dinner from the Ecuadorian highlands. You will sleep at the base of the impressive Chimborazo in a community shelter with all the necessary amenities.

Day 3: Chimborazo Excursion
It is the highest volcano in Ecuador. This gigantic colossus is the tallest mountain in the world from the center of the Earth to the Sun (Chimborazo 6,384 km vs. Everest 6,382 km). You will walk on snow (depending on the weather) from the Refuge to Laguna Cóndor Cocha on a hike of approximately 1 km.  At night, you will stay in an old Hacienda house and enjoy an unforgettable dinner.

Elevation gain: 276 m+

Total duration: 3 - 4 hours

Highest point: 5.100 m

CHIMBORAZO

Day 4: Quilotoa Trail
 

This beautiful lagoon is the result of the collapse of a volcano that occurred about 800 years ago.

We will rise early to take advantage of the first rays of the sun. During this 12 km hike, we will circumnavigate the crater and be able to gaze upon most of the Andes' volcanoes. The lagoon's water will change colors as we progress and the sun changes its position.

Distance: 12 km

Elevation gain: 1420 m+

Total duration: 4 - 6 hours

Highest point: 3.930 m

Quilotoa

Day 5: Baños de Agua Santa, Mountain Trekking, Extreme Swing, Pailón del Diablo

This small town is located between the central Andes and the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador, 8 km from the crater of the Tungurahua volcano.

You will embark on a trek of approximately 4 km to the renowned swing at Casa del Árbol. Very close by, we will visit the Vuelo del Cóndor, a gigantic and extreme swing of 50 meters. To conclude this day, you will explore the impressive Pailón del Diablo.

Distance: 4 km

Elevation gain: 600 m+

Total duration: 3 - 4 hours

Day 6: Rafting and Wildlife Observation by Boat

This adventure will take you towards the Amazon, to the city of Tena, renowned for its lush nature, wild rivers, and thrilling adventures.

Upon arrival, we will head to a beautiful river, where we will take our boats to embark on a 25 km rafting journey through the jungle. At the midpoint of the trip, we will make a stop to visit a small community in the midst of the jungle.

As night falls, you will embark on a canoe ride through a river backwater, where we can observe various types of animals that inhabit this beautiful ecosystem. You will rest in a hotel in the middle of the jungle.

Day 7: Culture experience in the jungle


Your adventure begins with a traditional "Limpia" ceremony led by a local shaman. Limpia, a cleansing ritual, involves the use of sacred plants and rituals to cleanse your body, mind, and spirit. It's a spiritual experience that connects you with the jungle's energy. After this, you'll go to a rustic, open-air chocolate workshop. Here, you'll learn the art of making chocolate from cacao beans harvested from the jungle.

Day 8: Quito / End of the Adventure
After breakfast, we will say goodbye with a lot of experiences to share when we return home.

We reserve the right to adjust the schedule at any time due to weather conditions, adherence to National Parks regulations, unexpected situations, or notifications, without prior notice.

Price: 2288 USD, price for the first 6 travellers.

• The experience is confirmed with 4 participans, if your trip is awaiting confirmation, you can receive a complete refund of the initial 25% deposit. 

• After your trip is confirmed, the initial 25% deposit becomes non-refundable. Nevertheless, you do have the choice to transfer this deposit to any of our other trips within the coming year.

• If you decide to cancel within 60 days or less before the trip's scheduled start date, no refunds will be issued.

  • ANDES LOCATIONS
    The Andes is the most visited region in Ecuador. It has cultural and natural diversity that makes it breathtaking. You can find paramos to beautiful volcanos and mountains such as Cotopaxi, Sincholagua, Antisana, Chimborazo, hot springs, deserts, and lagoons like San Pablo Cuicocha. In addition, plenty of places like old cities, indigenous markets, and cloud forests exist in small areas. We can provide accommodation, logistics, and all the required conditions for your productions.
  • AMAZON LOCATIONS
    This region offers incredible places and people to make something unique: the magnificent Tayo´s Cave, Cuyabeno, and Yasuní (the most biodiverse on Earth). We also can find multiple nationalities like Shuar, Huaorani o Waorani, Achuar, and many more. Therefore, our most important accomplishments are getting permission and being welcome to remote places.
  • GALAPAGOS LOCATIONS
    Galapagos, couldn't be better for diving. You shall expect visibility from 50 to 80 feet or 15 to 25 meters in most places. Reef fish, sea lions, sting rays, golden rays, eagle rays, invertebrates, morays, garden eels, turtles, marine iguanas, white tip reef sharks, hammerheads, whale sharks, whales, pelagic fish. In solid land, you can find 13 main islands. Marine iguanas, Galapagos giant tortoises, Darwin's finches, flightless cormorants, flamencos, waved Albatross, Galapagos Fur Sea, Penguin, Lava Herons, and many more popular animals. We can arrange the logistics, planes, transportation, permits from Galapagos National Park, and all needed for your production.
