ITINERARY

Day 1

 

Rise early for a day packed with adventure, departing from Plaza San Sebastian in Cuenca. Next, we will take you to the Ecuadorian Amazon in our four-wheel drive SUV. After just 2 hours and 30 minutes, you will arrive at Limon Indanza, the gateway to the Amazon. This is a picturesque Amazonian town hidden between mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and lots of nature.

 

After passing through Limon, you will head to a rural village known as the Enchanted Valley due to its impressive ecosystem. There, you will experience a ride on a calm horse inside the jungle, followed by a visit to an organic farm to learn more about how people work with Amazonian products and taste some of their traditional drinks made with sugar cane. Take a hike in the jungle and discover a fantastic variety of petroglyphs carved into large boulders.

 

Afterward, you will visit a series of waterfalls from 5 to 10 meters high, surrounded by jungle, the sound of birds, a great diversity of insects, and the elegance of butterflies. There will be an opportunity to swim and take an exhilarating shower at the waterfalls. In the evening, you will visit a special place to taste organic food from the Amazon prepared in gourmet style.

Finally, in Limon, you will stay in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature and fantastic views.

 

Day 2

 

After breakfast, today´s adventures are packed full of trekking and river time in Limon´s Canyon. It has a series of hidden Waterfalls within the jungle. Along the 3 km hike through the rainforest to the waterfalls, you will enjoy marvelous landscapes, surrounded by endemic plants and the colorful birds and hummingbirds in this part of the Amazon.

 

Once you arrive at the Canyon, you will find a series of 5 to 10 meters high waterfalls. We will have the opportunity to take a dip in these pristine waterfalls. 

 

After the waterfalls, you will enjoy lunch in a restaurant in Limon and then return to Cuenca.
